The Protiviti UK team has extensive experience in the UK marketplace which enables us to establish Protiviti as the premier risk consulting service provider in the country.

Andrew Clinton - Managing Director
Andrew Clinton is the Managing Director responsible for our UK and European practices. He is also a member of our Global Financial Services Leadership Council which establishes and executes the firm’s strategy for serving the Financial Services Industry throughout the world. Prior to joining Protiviti in 2007, Andrew spent nearly 20 years at KPMG, 12 as a partner. A member of the FSI consulting executive, Andrew had leadership responsibilities for investment management, corporate and investment banking. He also had cross P&L roles related to corporate transactions, account management and global networks.
 
In assisting clients, Andrew has provided a wide spectrum of consulting services from strategic advice, through business governance and on to large scale change management. In recent years, he has been most active in helping clients manage change that has been driven by regulatory matters, new business or operating models and/or corporate transactions.
 
Jonathan Wyatt - Managing Director
Jonathan Wyatt is a Managing Director of Protiviti in London.  Jonathan was a founding member of the Protiviti team in London and has been with Protiviti since its launch in the United Kingdom in 2004.  Prior to joining Protiviti, Jonathan spent over 10 years working for Arthur Andersen and Deloitte.
 
Jonathan is a member of the global leadership team of our IT Consulting business and has responsibility for our Managing the Business of IT Practice.  This includes our Strategy & Alignment, IT Process Improvement and IT Governance and Risk Management practices around the world.  Jonathan is also the regional lead for our IT Consulting practice in Europe, with direct management responsibility for our practice in the United Kingdom.
 
Jonathan has worked with some of the largest companies and some of the leading emerging organisations around the world helping them both protect and enhance the value derived from their investment in information technology, as well as helping these organisations to successfully deliver major business change programmes on a global basis.

Peter Richardson – Managing Director
Peter is the Managing Director of Protiviti’s Financial Services Industry Practice and for the Business Operations Improvement Solution Line in UK. Peter joined Protiviti in 2011 from Atos Consulting where he was Managing Partner of its FSI Consulting practice. Throughout his career he has helped a wide range of financial services organisations enhance their performance as well as advising on issues management within the areas of change, customer relationship, IT and risk. Peters experience includes process improvement, organisation redesign and reskilling, behavioural risk management and platform implementation. Peter has specialised for 25 years in consulting in retail financial services including general insurance, reinsurance and London market, life and pensions and retail banking and has run major programmes across all these sectors.
 
Bernadine Reese - Managing Director
Bernadine joined Protiviti from a Big 4 firm where she established and led the U.K. MiFID service line and has over 14 years financial sector experience including eight years as a highly regarded regulatory specialist within the financial services industry.  Bernadine has diverse advisory experience ranging from regulatory compliance to money-laundering investigations, especially in securities trading, investment management and banking.  Whilst on secondment, Bernadine established risk-based compliance monitoring for the private wealth management division of a large high street bank.  In assisting clients, Bernadine has provided extensive MiFID, anti-money laundering and regulatory consulting services from regional to pan-European assignments.
 
Lindsay Dart – Managing Director
Lindsay Dart is a Managing Director of Protiviti in London. Before joining Protiviti in 2012, Lindsay spent seven years at Deutsche Bank based in London, where he had global responsibility for the internal audit of finance, risk and Global Banking. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Lindsay spent 21 years at a Big 4 firm in the UK and Continental Europe, serving UK-based and international clients in the financial services and other sectors.

Sukhdev Bal - Director
Sukhdev is a Director with a focus on Internal Audit (IA).  Prior to joining Protiviti Sukhdev spent 14 years in various IA roles in industry.  He has worked across diverse industries including manufacturing, distribution, retail and telecommunications across an international geography.   Sukhdev works with a wide range of clients helping them to deploy their IA and compliance spend effectively and efficiently.  He has provided both co-sourced IA and Sarbanes Oxley compliance related services spanning project management activities, risk assessment, execution, remediation and production of final deliverables.

Gavin Benson - Director
Gavin joined Protiviti in 2007 after he was previously with a Big 4 firm for more than six years. Gavin has over 13 years experience in the Investment Management and Investment Banking sectors, focusing on Hedge Fund and Traditional Investment Managers, Investment Banks, and Outsource service providers.  Within these firms, Gavin has in depth experience of both business operations and technology in a number of areas across the front, middle and back office functions.

Mark Peters - Director
Mark is a Director with a focus on IT Audit and Assurance.  Mark joined Protiviti from a Big 4 firm and has over 15 years professional experience in working with clients to manage IT Risk, IT governance, project risk and IT Internal audit programmes.
 
Bill Byrnes - Director
Bill Byrnes is a Director in our Risk and Compliance practice in London.  His focus is credit risk and his experience at Protiviti includes planning and leading lender due diligence engagements, credit risk consulting projects including evaluating lending, monitoring, and collections functions, acquisition due diligence related to bank acquisitions, assessing allowance for loan and lease loss processes, and internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley engagements.  He also has experience in public accounting as an external auditor, focused on the financial services industry, with Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young.  His clients have included large bank holding companies, banking and other lending institutions, consumer and commercial finance companies, major credit card organizations, credit unions, and collection agencies.  Bill earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and maintains his Certified Public Account status in the United States.

Jacqueline Fenech - Director
Jacqueline Fenech is a Director, leading our Insurance and Solvency II services, within the FS Governance, Risk and Compliance team in the UK, with over 15 years’ FS experience.  She joined Protiviti from KPMG’s Insurance practice where she worked primarily with life and non-life international insurance groups and Lloyd’s entities around risk management, corporate governance, regulation and compliance.  Jacqueline has spent a year on secondment to the Solvency II Project Office within the Financial Services Authority (FSA) reporting directly to Paul Sharma. There she was responsible, among other, for the FSA’s operation of the Quantitative Impact Studies (QIS 2) and drafting parts of CEIOPS’s (now EIOPA) Consultation Papers. More recently, Jacqueline spent six months on secondment to Lloyd’s where she was actively involved in the formulation of the 2011 plan for the Solvency II dry run process for syndicates.

Ryan Rubin - Director
Ryan Rubin is a Director in our London office and leads the UK Security & Privacy, Computer Forensics and e-Disclosure service lines in IT Consulting and co-ordinates European activities in these areas.
Ryan brings over 15 years solid experience in information security consultancy. Prior to joining Protiviti, Ryan spent 10 years working for Deloitte. Ryan holds a Masters degree in Computer Science as well as various industry qualifications including QSA (Qualified Security Assessor) for credit card security, CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CFHI (Certified Forensics Hacking Investigator).
Ryan has been exposed to a breadth of information security challenges facing global Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 clients. He has delivered a variety of assignments that benchmark, implement and test information security from the boardroom all the way through to the network.
Ryan has extensive experience supervising and delivering information security consulting, forensics and assurance services and leads a team of information risk consultants that specialise in providing proactive and business driven security consultancy.
During his career, Ryan has served clients globally across several industries providing a wide breadth and depth of security related services including: strategy & architecture, identity & access management, penetration testing, application security, infrastructure implementation, IT audit and due diligence, forensic investigations and risk management.
Ryan has spoken at several conferences including those at ISACA, PCI Europe, I4, Infosec, MIS training, IIA and Gartner.
Tom Lemon - Director
Tom is a Director based in London within Protiviti’s IT Consulting practice.  He joined Protiviti in 2004 to help launch the UK business, having previously worked at one of the Big 4 firms in their Technology Risk division.  Tom has considerable experience providing IT Consulting solutions to large global clients across several industry sectors.  He specialises in IT governance, IT risk management, end user computing, project risk management, project, programme and portfolio management and IT audit solutions.
 
Loredana Guetg-Wyatt - Director
Loredana is a Director of Protiviti London. Loredana was a founding member of the Protiviti team in London and has been with Protiviti since its launch in the United Kingdom in 2004. Prior to joining Protiviti Loredana  worked with Arthur Andersen and Deloitte both in Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Loredana is the solution lead for Protiviti London’s Financial Controls (IAFC) team specialising in consulting to multinational companies.  Loredana’s main focus is partnering with clients to reassess their approach to finance and compliance/assurance programmes, leading the design, assessment and implementation of large internal controls projects, and to provide assistance for companies to place increased reliance on automated controls and continuous monitoring systems. In addition to being a subject matter expert in Sarbanes-Oxley and the Japanese equivalent, Loredana supports global companies with the  implementation of specific regulations such as Schedule 46 and the Bribery Act.
 
Matt Taylor - Director
Matt is a Director in Protiviti’s Risk and Compliance team in London. He joined Protiviti in 2005 prior to which he worked for Arthur Andersen and Deloitte. Matt specialises in helping organisations design and implement sustainable risk management arrangements, focusing on ensuring appropriate processes are in place to provide senior management and the business with oversight of key risk and control issues.  
 
Alan McFarlane - Director
Alan has over twenty years of experience in various sectors of UK industry. He has worked in Retail, FMCG, Banking, Engineering and not-for-profit sectors leading and delivering significant change and benefits to those organisations. He specialises in the transformation of back office functions to improve performance, the development of business operating models as well as effecting change, seeking cost savings and implementing organisational change. Alan has managed small and large scale projects and programmes for leading UK organisations, working in partnership with the business to ensure solid pragmatic solutions to their issues.
  
John Harvie - Director
John is a Director within Protiviti’s Performance Improvement Practice. He is an insurance sector specialist having worked  both as a consultant and as a change leader within insurance companies.  His focus has been on large scale change through, strategy definition, business plan preparation, business case development, business model design, solutions selection, solution build and implementation.
